Formerly David & Charles, our focus is on serving niche enthusiast communities primarily with books, but also with product & digital content sales direct to the customer. We are passionate about meeting the needs of our communities in whatever way we can.
I joined D&C in August 2008 with the goal to see through the closure of our negative option book club business (which ran for 72 years under the Readers Union brand). In July 2009 the clubs closed and customers migrated into our new, eCommerce focused, direct businesses.
In March 2010, I became MD of David & Charles. Having led the rebrand to F&W Media International, I am focused on these goals:
- Growing our niche communities through our content and direct to consumer business
- Capitalising on opportunities for the F+W Media group in international markets
- Working with our strategic partners in building businesses to meet shared goals
My background is marketing and I am passionate about digital and emerging market opportunities in my industry and beyond. I am fortunate to work with a great team of leadership colleagues and a talented and committed staff.
